Thirty-five years ago I had a book with pictures of a man doing yoga. Trying out a lot of the poses, I thought yoga was great, but, at the time, I was competing in skating, and working on a hot rod; then I got married, had children – I guess you know what I mean. Fast forward. Getting older, my children grown, I had back pain that just wouldn’t go away. I found yoga again, and I stuck with it this time. My back pain is gone, and I found that yoga affects much more than the physical body. Day by day, yoga improves my relationships with people around me. I have a Master's Degree in Developmental Psychology and I have helped people (from little children to college students) to learn about lots of different things (gymnastics to artificial intelligence). In the spring of 2007 I completed the Nataraja Yoga Teacher Training with June Locklin and now I am grateful for the opportunity to support others in learning yoga.
